| Hiking Giant Mountain in the Adirondacks, New York | |||
On Memorial Day weekend, we spent hiking and camping in the Adirondacks, a frequent family destination. Giant Mountain was the choice to summit, one of the high peaks in Keene Valley in ADK. We're a team of five, including our 18-month old daughter.Two friends joined us the first part of the hike. |

| The trail was easily marked with a red tag.
The hike was rather strenuous with some rock scrambling. Steep parts, but with
good hand holds and good shoes, they're manageable. Beautiful views on the way. Click to see images May 23-25, 2009 |
