A Trace of the Past

A beautiful day outside.  After having brunch with friends, my husband and I went for a long walk along Broadway, from Upper West side to the 60's..  On our way home, we noticed a big advertising image on the left side of a building near Lincoln Center facing the main street of Broadway.  The right side of the image reflects a fading effect with large blue letters blending with yellow and pinkish background.

Trace of New York
I've walked around the same block from time to time, but I did not  actually noticed the striking Ad until today. Must have been there since the 1920's.    A recently demolished building had hidden it from the public's eye for sometime and then reemerged.  The large image was just interesting, so we  took a snapshot of it.  I thought it was a good reminder of the old New York.  It will be there for sometime until a new construction takes place.

Perhaps, as I walk other distances other days, more traces of the past will catch my sight :-)
